Evening erases the city's hustle.

The sudden change astonishes many people. 

Hearing a song from the street. 

Itts lyrics and the singer’s voice so melodious and sweet.

Pausing, I silently recall

the evenings of falling leaves, leaves falling by the doorstep.

As the evening sets in, the road becomes empty.

On the ground lie shadows of a few rows of trees.

Lights shining, rain falling.

The music and singing stopped. 

Old dreams shattered.

My heart still remembers the evenings 

when we’re leaning close, 

leaning close to the rhythm of the strings. 

Oh! The shiver of remembrance, is it today or another evening?

Oh! Sunset falling,  stopping here to listen to rain-soaked leaves letting out sighs.

A recall of first love’s wishes and dreams. Where  had they gone? 

Old melodies sink deep in a soul forlorn. 

Late-night,  lights still gleaming

with music softly playing

that recalls countless times of fallen leaves,

Leaves falling on the evening path.

Ôi ! Bóng hôn hoàng xuống, dừng đây nghe lá mưa từng cánh trong nghẹn ngào 

Mộng ước về đâu, chút duyên tình đầu 

Nhạc cũ chìm sâu 

Lắng trong hồn sầu 

Đèn khuya còn sáng 

Nhạc khuya thầm nhắc bao lần lá rơi
